We will reclaim this word. To experience a love that extends beyond the earthly form - a spiritual tether. Where our shapes are as many as the stars; where our minds flow together, ebbing with the gentle pulse of the cosmos. They will not understand, and yet we will continue loving each other anyhow. We will ascend past the hurts they try to share with us - wounds someone passed on to them - and we will thrive.

We will celebrate our bodies, while knowing they are just the interface between our spirits; we will not let these shapes limit how much love we can hold. We will be intimate.
